‘Part 1’

To Our Readers,

 

A lot of people have asked me about the quickest way to add size to their frame. They claim they workout 5 days a week eat so much food that they will burst and that they are still not getting any results. Yes we have all been there. Whether we are following the newest workout regime posted in our favourite magazine or eating mountains full of food and stuffing ourselves with protein powders, there is no lack of try here so it’s very frustrating when things don’t pan out.

 

I can relate to this as I myself, have tried everything under the sun to get big (legally big). But no matter how much I lifted or how much I ate the weight would not come. That’s not to say that I didn’t gain anything, in fact I gained 20 lbs of muscle my first summer of working out! When I returned to school the following year people noticed. People also started asking “which way to the beach?”  But that’s beside the point. But most people can easily gain that much size when they first start working out.

 

It’s the weight and size gained after that initial explosion of growth that really counts!

 

The first thing I ask someone who wants my advice is what kind of exercises they are doing. I more often then not have people telling me they are doing crazy exercises like behind the back crossover cable curls or reverse grip incline chest flies…. Ok they don’t exist but the point is people are ignoring the basics. Then they tell me that they do the basics just in addition to all these “shaping” exercises. My response is you can’t shape what isn’t there. I can hear it now “but so and so does it! And I see the generic big guy at the gym doing it all the time”. And I respond with:

 

“So how’s that working out for ya?”

 

That’s right, it either is or it isn’t and if it is, great. Keep up the good work! But if it’s not and you truly are frustrated at not getting the results your effort deserves then stay tuned as over the next few weeks here at TheGetBiggerGuys.com we’ll go over our tried and true and tested by yours truly workout routine that will add size and strength to your frame. Be prepared to take notes.. or at least mental notes as we tackle some of the real reasons why so many people fail to make appreciable gains in the gym.
